Hello and welcome to this week’s Tarot Tuesday.
For the past few months, I’ve been sharing a Tarot Tuesday on my personal Facebook page and it occurred to me that YOU may want to get in on this intuitive throw-down.
So here’s how this works.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Pick your card.
Do you have it picked out? Go with your FIRST instinct.
Ready for the reveal?
Here we go!
Card 1 is the Five of Pentacles.
The Five of Pentacles is a card of hard times. It may come in the form of an illness, job loss, financial trouble, or rejection. Above all this, there will be worry. So much worry. This anxiety is counterproductive and damaging.
You must find a way to quiet the mind during this difficult time. Rely on meditation or visualization to find peace.
When tough times come up, do you flail? Do you throw yourself around and fill yourself up with desperation? I have some good news and bad news.
The bad news is that you’re going to be presented with a challenge that triggers that anxiety pattern to come to the surface.
The good news is that you have an opportunity to release that pattern once and for all when this challenge comes up.
Watch yourself closely and consider all the ways that you are shrinking into lack consciousness. This challenge will allow you to expand into wealth consciousness and show yourself what you and your resolve are really made of.
Card two is The High Priestess.
The High Priestess sits in stillness. From there she’s able to access realms other pass by without noticing, the vast world of intuition, dreams, and mystery. She uses silence and non-action to harness this power.
Sometimes this card appears to remind you to listen more closely to the voice within. Other times it’s a sign to look past the obvious, to find what’s being kept secret or hidden within a given situation.
Acknowledge the shadows.
I believe this is a reminder that your intuition IS your highest self communicating with you. Stop doubting yourself.
However, learn to distinguish the difference between your intuition and your fear-based patterns. How can you tell the difference? Your fear is always going to keep you in your comfort zone and is going to inhibit growth. Your intuition will have you betting on yourself and expanding you out of your comfort zone.
Card three is The Hanged Man.
Many people talk about the art of “letting go.”
But what does it really mean? How do you achieve it?
The Hanged Man has all the answers; he’s the master of non-attachment. This card implies there’s a sacrifice or a difficult or painful situation coming up in your life. Though you naturally want to resist and struggle through it, be more like The Hanged Man.
Find stillness, open your eyes, and use this new perspective to learn something.
You’re stuck here either way.
A lot of times, the pain we feel in a situation is not actually caused by the situation. Almost always, the pain is caused by the resistance or attachment to the situation. Much like labor, if you resist or anticipate the contractions, the pain will be unbearable. If you surrender to breathing in the contraction, the pain is much more manageable.
Approach your challenges with that same confident breath. Release your preconceived ideas about your situation so that you can show up fully and and access your creative problem solving skills with more ease.
